Solo Birs-Dip on the 8th of January. 5 minutes of cold exposure. Today I was mentally struggling, I was on my own and had to set up the camera in order to get it done. I was tempted to check the time on my watch but I resisted and waited for the 5 minute vibration alert on my wrist. #birsdip #coldexposure #whm #vegan #whatvegansdo

15' AMRAP of 20 Wall Balls (20 pounds) 20 Ring Dips (I scaled it - it almost only looks like I'm head banging 😂) 20 Box Jumps (60cm) I managed to do 3 rounds and 15ish Wall Balls. To be fair, I had some bro reps on the Wall Balls (slightly below the 10 inch mark and one time it didn't touch the wall at all). Thanks to smartwod / worukout generator.

I discovered a new place that I'm visiting for my early morning dips during my daily morning routine that I started this month. It's a bit up the river from the place where we do our regular Saturday Birs-Dips. Super peaceful and full of birds. On the other side of the river is "Vogel Hölzli" a nature reserve where no human is allowed to go. There are beavers, kingfishers, ducks, gray herons, s...

    that transition into folded shape while walking and riding the escalator was smoothe. I need more practice with that, I always need to stop, crouch, and fold taking at least 20 seconds.

    • @Gee-Jay
      @Gee-Jay 2 місяці тому

      Yeah, it takes some practice but I always loved, when I could do it in a single, flowing movement.

  • @lancethrustworthy

    Well, it was a nice attempt. You didn't let us see you really ride the thing. Yes, there are a few seconds, but nothing allowing us to get a good sense of the device and how the rider interacts with it. The final statement was good, but again, we barely got a chance to see the vehicle in operation.

      I'm not sure what exactly you were looking for but you can clearly see me riding it at the beginning and over the bridge but yeah, I'm not driving some kind of parcour to show you the handling, that's true.

    a better way to carry this bike is to hold the left handle bar with left hand, to push the saddle back with right hand. That will make control the directions much easier and with less effort .

      gepardek hi - no, I never rode any other model then the SX (one black with curved handle bars, one silver with straight handle bars) so I can't really tell you anything about the LT version. But from what I've read, it's not as fast because of the smaller 16" wheels compared to the 18" wheels on the SX. I am currently riding a 24" Tern Eclipse Uno Singlespeed folding bike and that's even faster then my Strida SX so it must be true.

    The power button is cool, but not really well thought through. It activates in the soft case (maybe make a hard case?). And I'm always annoyed by bright blinking lights... Why is that?

    • @Gee-Jay
      @Gee-Jay 10 років тому

      Yeah, happened to me as well (unwanted self-activation) - or you could add something into the softcase so it doesn't have the space to go up until you truly open it. The lights are indicators just like on a mobilephone that show you the mode you're in etc. I don't think you can change that.

    • @maartenv3061
      @maartenv3061 10 років тому

      Continues blinking lights on products should be forbidden. It's so distracting and annoying in my opinion. If you have a meeting with dimmed lights for the beamer, you have this blinking light through the whole room.

    I have one for many years. In this video isn't shown that the form is made to hang it down between the coats or to place is in a luggagerack in the train. Not possible with the blockform if folded of other bikes. However the confort of sitting is so hard, that 10 miles biking is the limit. To prevent wooden buttocks. Me too I love this bike.
